This week, we take on the high-flying Bolton in their own backyard. Bolton has been a bit of a Bogey team for us of late, especially at Old Trafford. Sir Alex has been full of praises for Big Sam and his tactics, read his article here. The truth is Big Sam’s long-ball strategy is notoriously difficult to defend against and to their credit, they implement it rather well.
As far as team news goes, we welcome Ronaldo back into the side after a week out with a flu. Other than that, we should see the regular first team back in action after a run-out for the youngsters in midweek, a rather lengthy one...

It is unlikely that any player in the history of the game has ever garnered as much attention, opprobrium and adulation as George Best. For the past 40 years he has enthralled the British public as much through his hell-raising off the pitch as his genius on it. However, despite the controversy that has often followed Best there are few that could deny he is among the most talented figures to ever kick a ball.

United are one club that have changed a lot of jerseys over the years. I must say when I first saw our new home kit for the season ahead, I was rather skeptical and did not like it very much. After all, we’ve had better looking jerseys before with shades of black and a nice mixture of both makes the jersey look very neat. But I guess it was time to go back to the ‘All Red’ style sooner or later.
With passing time, I will be reviewing some old jerseys worn over the years by United players and ones that stand out (home or away). My personal favorite remains the treble winning jersey....

Gresty Road, home of League One side Crewe Alexandra, proved to be a daunting place for the Red Devils as they left it late to secure victory.
Fergie expectedly fielded a weakened time, but the good news was the inclusion of Alan Smith in the starting eleven, his first start in nine months.
