Manchester United Transfer Talk

There has been a lot of reports in the press lately about the arrival of Freddy Adu for a 2-week trial at Manchester Untied. United have now themselves confirmed his arrival (read the news article here).

To be honest, I do not know much about this lad other than watching him in a program or two. To me he looks very familiar to Obafemi Martins (formerly of Inter and now ofcourse at Newcastle), only smaller. He has all the attributes of a striker, good short, very fast, good on the ball except, again, that he’s smaller. He is pretty young so considering he’ll develop further and grow (physically too hopefully) he can become something worth watching about.

Will he be successful in the premiership? I really don’t know. But I guess that’s why we’ve brought him over, to take a good look at it and if there’s one person who’s got the knack for spotting young talent, it’s Fergie!
