Manchester United vs. Blackburn Rovers Preview
This weekend sees away to Ewood Park to take on Mark Hughes’s Blackburn. We need to put the disappointment of Carling Cup behind us and get back to business and on with the real deal that is the league. We maybe three clear at the top right now but knowing Chelsea will be ready to pounce and close the gap at every opportunity, the key now is maintain a little daylight between us and them.
Blackburn have a reputation for a side that like playing it rough, so it’s always a battle at their place, physical more than anything else and scorelines are always low. Last season was something of a rollercoaster with us on the losing side of a 4-3!
Not much to report in terms of team news from except we’re taking a full-strength side over there (thankfully!). For Blackburn, they are without Robbie Savage, Jason Roberts and Steven Reid.
