Carrick and Some Transfer Talk

Michael Carrick, the lad from up-north, has assured us fans that his best performances are yet to come. Although, he has adapted to the United setup extremely well, I do believe that will it naturally take some time before he produces his best football in a Red shirt. There couldn’t be a better time to start than Sunday mind!

There are transfer rumous on the rise as we come closer to January. There are more news emanating from the United camp that Smith may well leave in the coming transfer window, on loan more or less. The absence of Solskjaer has really left us exposed on the striking front with our only option Saha and Rooney. Imagine an injury to one of them and there goes our effort to stay top of the league.

We have been linked with some strikers recently, none more exciting than Fernando Torres. Now there’s a quick centre-forward I’d love to see in a red shirt alright! Although, I don’t think he’ll come cheap, somewhere in the region of 20 million quid perhaps. But one thing is for sure and that is we need cover in the striking department. I bet Fergie’s searching for potential United hitmenĀ as we speak.
