Manchester United vs. Chelsea Preview
So it begins, the battle for the Premiership REALLY begins this weekend as Chelsea come calling into the Theatre of Dreams, and they shall leave empty-handed! Although that is easier said than done, I think the lads wouldn’t need any motivation for this. Everyone will be up for this one, I mean who wouldn’t wanna shove it into the face of Jose! I think, without a doubt, if a poll was ever conducted about the single manager most fans hate, it’d be him! His smug superiour attitude really does my head in and I hope he receives a lesson in modesty seeing his side humbled by United at OT tomorrow!
Enough of the bickering, beating Chelski wouldn’t be easy by any means. The quality they possess in their side is extraordinary, no one can possibly disagree with that. But I would fancy us against any team at Old Trafford, given our current form at home and the quality of football we have produced in recent games.
Team news is expected to be good, with no one reporting back with injuries in mid-week. Giggs, Scholes and Neville are all fit to play and raring to go hopefully. It’d be interesting to see. For Chelski, there are injury concerns to Drogba and Ballack. A draw would be an acceptable result in the end, but like I said earlier this is a potential six-pointer. I mean who would you bet on to beat Chelski other than United at the moment? No one! Especially with Arsenal effectively out of the title race with their defeat to Bolton yesterday.
Bring on Chelski! The Red Devils are Ready!
My Preddy: United 1 - 0 Chelski
