Post-Chelsea Rant and Thoughts…

Yesterday was a really big day for us all, in terms of getting a fair amount of head-to-head stats on both United and Chelski, the only two sides capable of being Champions this year with Arsenal all but out now. First of all, how well did Saha take his goal?! Quite a brilliant finish from him, a left-foot shot curled across Carvalho and perfectly in the left corner! sublime! He didn’t waste much time getting over his dreadful miss in mid-week, did he?! Hats off to him for that and I sincerely hope he is fit and raring to go, although he did leave the field clutching his hamstring. For all our...

Manchester United vs. Chelsea Review

So the big game is gone and we stand exactly where we were before, three points ahead of Chelski. I don’t mind that to be honest, given our second-half showing against that lot from London. They did rather well to scupper whatever possession we had after the interval and dare I say it, we were on the back foot! In short, for most of the game we were made to watch two teams going at it using the physical approach. Although United were the first ones to attack and expectedly but the game soon settled and became a sort of a cagey affair with no real flow. It was a bright start from United, like I...

Manchester United vs. Chelsea Preview

So it begins, the battle for the Premiership REALLY begins this weekend as Chelsea come calling into the Theatre of Dreams, and they shall leave empty-handed! Although that is easier said than done, I think the lads wouldn’t need any motivation for this. Everyone will be up for this one, I mean who wouldn’t wanna shove it into the face of Jose! I think, without a doubt, if a poll was ever conducted about the single manager most fans hate, it’d be him! His smug superiour attitude really does my head in and I hope he receives a lesson in modesty seeing his side humbled by United at OT...

In the News…

The weekend is here and before I post a review of our all-important game against the Londoners, a couple of other news items worth talking about. First of all, Fergie rubbishing claims Mr. Kenyon made and I blogged about the other day. Here’s what he had to say: His comments don’t bother me. I am hardly going to start quaking and trembling about them. Right on Fergie! All Mr. Kenyon is doing is trying to wind us up and with his little dreams of becoming the best club in the world. Fergie has also taken the time out to rubbish a certain Neil Lennon’s comments about Gary Neville...

Carrick and Some Transfer Talk

Michael Carrick, the lad from up-north, has assured us fans that his best performances are yet to come. Although, he has adapted to the United setup extremely well, I do believe that will it naturally take some time before he produces his best football in a Red shirt. There couldn’t be a better time to start than Sunday mind! There are transfer rumous on the rise as we come closer to January. There are more news emanating from the United camp that Smith may well leave in the coming transfer window, on loan more or less. The absence of Solskjaer has really left us exposed on the striking front...
