The FA Cup Draw…
The draw for the third round of the FA Cup was made yesterday and United have been drawn at home to Aston Villa. I know most of us would have rather seen us be drawn to some low-league opposition (home or away) … but with the form we’re in I am still ok with it since we’re at home.
Also, a word on the upcoming Benfica fixture at OT tomorrow. The side available to Fergie seems to be full-strength with no one reporting with an injury. Ironic, we had to face Benfica again in another do-or-die encounter but you would definitely agree with me that we’re better prepared this time around and could potentially take anyone at home. I know Fergie will take no chances given the importance of this tie and the likes of Giggs, Scholes and Neville will need to be at their very best to dismantle Benfica and send them home packing.
