In a testament to his great performances in the Red of Manchester, the Barclays Premier League (the FA basically) have given Cristiano Ronaldo the Player of the Month award for the month of November! So, Congratulations to Ronaldo for that one and must say that it was thoroughly deserved!

Jim Hytner, from the awards panel, said:

“Ronaldo has been in excellent form, putting in a string of outstanding performances on the wing.

“His strike against Portsmouth has got to be a contender for goal of the month.”

It is the first time Ronaldo has ever won this award. So, for me, this just goes to show that United as well as their young players’ are in as lethal form as ever. Let’s hope this great run goes on and on until the end of the season when we get our hands on that league title that has been eluding us for three years now. It is a wonderful time to be Red, sitting pretty at the top of the table, and perhaps more importantly playing some unbelievable stuff at the moment … and when your players and your team are winning the Player of the Month awards like that, it means we’re certainly back in business! Howay the Reds!
