Manchester United vs. West Ham United Review

Today has to count as one of the biggest disappointments for a long long time for United. Away to a team that was struggling to find form, and albeit boosted by the replacement with a top manager, but no way near as good as the Untied starting eleven. Of particular dissappointment was our lack of ‘killer touch’, as Fergie put in, in front of goal.

Perhaps more importantly, Chelski came back from behind not once but twice to beat Everton and move upto 2 points of United. They must have been doubly delighted with our defeat and their remarkable victory. Like I said earlier, they are no push-overs, and they are not going to give up the title without a fight. So, in short, it was all they had wished for and the race for the title is as close as ever now.

Still, there’s a long way to go and like Fergie said, the title won’t be decided in December. But we can’t expect much slip-ups from Chelski to be honest, and for that we must pick ourselves from this defeat and get back to winning ways immediately. Some cover during the January transfer window should provide us with much-needed strength in depth to sustain a successful title challenge. Much remains to be seen though, and we can only hope Fergie has success in getting the lads back into their tip-top form.
