 Have you ever wondered what the Manchester United badge looked like before a red devil decided to appear on it? Well if you have, you need look no further! The badge displayed above was the one that took pride of place on the jersey in the 1970s. This badge was black and white, with no red involved and was more of a true likeness to the one used by the teams of the early 1900s.

 Indeed, the current badge only put in an appearence in the 1980s when the nickname of “Red Devils” started to catch on. However, I couldn’t imagine a Manchest United logo looking any other way now!
