All Manchester United fans can breathe a huge sigh of relief… because boss Alex Ferguson has pledged to stay on as manager for at least another two years! His announcement comes as Manchester United are sitting in pole position at the top of the Premiership with just ten games to go!
Ferguson had previosuly decided to retire in 2002, but did a dramatic U-turn and decided to stay on, even though many thought that this was a grave mistake. He has proved the critics wrong. After 20 years in charge, he is stil one of the best managers ever to grace the English stage. Good luck to him – we’re just thankful that he is staying on for a while yet!
