Trivia For The MUFC Fan

Did you know that Manchester United holds the record for the most comprehensive Premiership win? Their 9-0 route of Ipswich Town made it into the history books as the biggest victory/defeat in the history of the Premier League. That fixture in the 1994/5 season also broke another record – Andy Cole was the first player to score 5 goals in a match.

Amonst the other Premiership records is another Manchester United player. Ruud Van Nistlerooy made it into the history books by scoring in 8 consecutive games in the 2001/2 season. I guess the club just attracts record breakers!!!
