Youth

Renowned for its youth cuture since the 1950s, Manchester United has yet another crop of talented players coming through the ranks. Sam Hewson, pictured above, is 18 years old and has already been selected to play in the England U-19 squad this season. He has been in excellent form this year and has shone in a pretty good team that has achieved a mediocre position in the league.

Same Hewson is a bright star of the future and joined straight from school like the Giggs and the Beckhams that have gone before him. Acheiving international honours this early in his career is no mean feat. The fact that he is being publically praised by the academy staff, including coach Brian McClair says it all, so watch out for him at Old Trafford shortly.
