It is official, Manchester United is the most valuable football club in the world. Forbes business magazine reported the news at the end of last month. The club’s wealth is £740 million, a whole £212 million more than second place Real Madrid. Much of the wealth is down to Malcolm Galzer’s riches, even though the club is a marketable commodity in itself. The results are as follows:
