Rossi Plays Well In Euro 07
After making Alex Ferguson sit up and take note with his comments just after the close of last Premiership season, Guiseppe Rossi has continued to impress with Italy in the European Under 21 Championship this summer. Rossi was undoubtedly one of the best players on the pitch during every game featuring Italy, and indeed in the tournament. Whether he will become a Manchester United regular in the coming season remains to be seen, but he certainly deserves it on this showing.

Anderson Set For The Start Of The Season
Good news on the transfer front for Manchester United fans today - Anderson has finally been given a work permit and so will be ready to start the season with the Red Devils. Anderson had previously been turned down for a permit because he has not played in 75% of Brazil’s international games in the past two years. Bearing in mind the fact that he is 19, Alex Ferguson applied on the grounds that it was unreasonable to expect this from him. The appeal was successful and we are now looking forward to seeing him in a red shirt in August!

Gudjohnsen A Red Devil?
The rumour mill is at work again! This time Manchester United have been linked with Eidur Gudjohnsen, the former Chelsea striker currently with Barcelona. He hasn’t really made it away from the Premiership and is looking to return, with the biggest club in the league at the moment. It is thought that Barca would sell him for around £8 million because he is still contracted until 2009, but he may be just the player to lead the front line in the coming season.

If you thought the Premiership title was the end of the season honours, then think again! This time though, it is a couple of individual players getting the honours rather than the whole team!
Ryan Giggs and Teddy Sherringham have both been awarded honours by the Queen for their services to this country. Ryan Giggs was given an OBE and Teddy Sherringham, received an MBE. There are usually some footballers receiving honours in the lists, but it is about time that these two players, who have possibly contributed more to the game than anybody else playing right now, got the recognition that they deserve!

Some excellent news for all Manchester United fans - Louis Saha will be back for the start of the 1007/8 season! Almost back to full fitness, Louis Saha is now in training to improve match fitness ahead of the August fixtures. Out for the final weeks of last season, Saha missed out on playing in some srucial games for the Red Devils so he is raring to make up for that, by all accounts!!!

Finally The Deal Is Done
It’s official, Owen Hargraves will join Manchester United on the 1st July in a multi million pound deal from Bayern Munich. The worst kept secret in football seems to have finally come to fruition. This in itself is a surprise because the things that are most talked about don’t actually happen.
Judging by Manchester United’s transfer activity already, it looks as though it may well be a busy summer! This can only be a good thing and just goes to prove that Alex Ferguson will not be happy unless he retains the title again next year!

Transfers… Well On The Way!
Let the transfers commence! Just weeks into the transfer season, Manchester United have news of two impending transfers, both players involved having passed medicals. As a result, the two players in questions, Anderson and Nani, seem set to sign within the next few days.
Both Nani and Anderson are awesome players that can only enhance the side and make the Red devils more difficult to conquer next season. After all, it is all about making sure we hold on to the Premiership title and go further in Europe. These players seem the men to make sure that it happens!!!
