@danutd94 I’m sorry to say this but you are actually wrong in this one. Yes, van Nistelrooij is spelled with the ij in Holland. But van der Sar is has no international version of his name (like Cruyff and Nistelrooy), it’s just van der Sar!
In Dutch when two vowels stand next to each other they are pronounced with the same tone but only longer.
