Look at this from a Football Fans point of view. Personally i don’t even think Carrick can get ahead of Busquets let alone Keita and Yaya Touré.

Yes he would, Barcelona are looking for water boys and boot lacers.
Non biased opinion ……. Although he is a very good footballer, the best he could hope for is being on the bench. Any non biased fan would agree he isn’t world class. Barca pretty much have world class through the team.

Im a utd fan, and i can honestly say when iniesta and xavi are fit, carrick wont be getting in that team.
Goodluck getting a non-biased answer here. The only ppl here are United supporters and United haters.
So, my biased opinion as a United fan is, he may spend most of the time on the bench since Barca do have Xavi and Iniesta. But he is loads better than Keita or Yaya Toure.
As a Spurs Fan, so not too biased – Carrick is a good player. However, he’s not the sort of player who can dominate a game with his performance – look at Roy Keane in his peak at Utd, and now look at Iniesta and Xavi at Barca – and know that they completely control how Barca play – and are probably the best midfield partnership in the past decade….then chuck Yaya in the mix too – as the man who breaks it all up and lets the fancy boys play with the ball – and i guess that answers the question – which one is Carrick better than?
If Carrick were to go to Barcelona,I don’t think he’d fit into the first team as he has similar qualities to Xavi and Barca’s preferred midfield is better than him.He’d probably end up on the bench and come on for either Xavi or Iniesta.
i think that carrick is good but barcelona don`t need him
