@originalbigmoe following on, De Gea i doubt will make any profit, and technically West Ham and Newcastle produce the best players through the acadamies, bigger teams take the unfinished article and polish them up a bit. I know quite a few neutral fans of football and they say the same. You may have produced some quality players, no denying but other ‘less spending’ teams have done too, Villa, West Ham, Southampton, Newcastle.. City produced the likes of sturridge and swp.
@originalbigmoe I’m not saying they haven’t ‘abused’ it, the fact is United have too. You may have had the likes of Beckham etc, you still had to spend quite a lot of money to win titles. They also have Richards, and quite a few prospects coming through, just like utd did in the 1990′s. Just face it that in the 2000′s era, you’ve needed to spend big to win titles. You needed to pay 19 mil for nistelrooy, 27 for rooney, Berbatov 30.
Name any industry where inward, debt free, investment of 100s of millions of pounds that would be frowned upon? Automotive – yes we would all complain if Mercedes opened a new factory in Manchester – not. It would be great for jobs and the economy. Fuck all the ‘city bought the league’, United have being doing it for a while too. 27 million pound for ferdinand, 27 million for Rooney, 18 million for Carrick, Hargreaves 17 million, Valencia 17 million, 30 million for Berbatov, and this season with De gea for near 19 million and Young and Jones on the 17 million mark, City deserve their time, having to put up with them toss pots next to them for all them years.

whay you people don’t like dzeko i don’t undesrtand , he score 12 goals already this season like rotate striker and aguero play all games. he knows how to pass the ball and asistes to hes team mates unlike aguero. he play bad only when mancini put him on the bench without resaon. dzeko is best city striker and that’s fact you people are never satisfed, sorry on poor english
