In the News…

The weekend is here and before I post a review of our all-important game against the Londoners, a couple of other news items worth talking about. First of all, Fergie rubbishing claims Mr. Kenyon made and I blogged about the other day. Here’s what he had to say:

His comments don’t bother me. I am hardly going to start quaking and trembling about them.

Right on Fergie! All Mr. Kenyon is doing is trying to wind us up and with his little dreams of becoming the best club in the world. Fergie has also taken the time out to rubbish a certain Neil Lennon’s comments about Gary Neville saying to him, of all people, that Saha was ‘going to miss’. Like they’re best buddies since childhood!

In other news, Cristiano Ronaldo has apparently made some comments about our dear guests this weekend. To be specific, he’s said that Chelski are no better than last year even with the additions of the likes of Andrei Shevchenko and Michael Ballack. Honestly, I wouldn’t have said if I were him knowing it’ll only end up getting them more motivated. This is no easy game, what we need is to keep our head down and do our talking on the pitch rather than off it. Although I would take a draw against them any day but a repeat of last year’s performance and scoreline would be quite pleasing!
