All The United Kits…
Any fan of Manchester United will be familiar with the kits that the squad has worn in recent years, as well as the sponsers in all liklihood. However, how would you fair if you were asked to identify kits from the 1950s or 60s?
You can find out about ever kit ever worn by the Manchester United team on the Pride Of Manchester website. They have pictures of every kit, from those worn by the Busby Babes to George Best (like the 1960s one above) to Ryan Giggs… and some are even further back - going into the 1800s.
The site offers a shop facility too where you can buy replica shirts from most of the time periods they display. Have a look today and see if any of them take your fancy!

February 6th, 1958 was to be the darkest day in football, but the people that boarded flight BEA Elizabethan were not to know that as the Busby Babes sang about their victory in Yugoslavia on a snow-filled winter’s day.
The Munich air disaster has gone some way to making Manchester United into the club it is today. The crash, in which 23 people died, saw the desecration of a football team. Matt Busby, the only member of the coaching staff to survive, had to build the team up from nothing and turn it into a force. Fellow survivor Bobby Charlton was integral to the team duing that spell and fought to help Busby succeed for those who perished, of which duncan Edwards, one of the true United greats, was one. As we watch the team every week, we should be proud. We should be thankful that the club survived and we should cheer on every player that wears the red.

My last post set me thinking about the history of Manchester United and the possibilities of seeing it - history, glory and all. There is one place that you can do that. The Manchester United museum, located in the North Stand at Old Trafford. The museum has a wide range of trophies, kit, memorabelia, photos… you name it, its got it. And all for the purpose of celebrating tradition!
There is a treble exhibition from more recent years side by side with a tribute to the Munich Air Disaster victims and the Busby Babes. One of the most remarkable items is a shirt from the 1909 FA Cup Final winning team!
You can book tickets for the museum online, and the highest admission fee is just £6. You have no excuse not to go see it!

So you have the latest Manchester United shirts and the ones from the past few seasons but you want to take being a fan to the next level. What now? Well, many fans have taken to collecting the old shirts that glorious Man Utd teams of the past sported. Time to bring you lads and lasses some more desktop wallpaper about United. This week, I will be focussing on ‘classic’ Man Utd. wallpapers for you lot. So without further ado, let’s start! Btw, all these walls are brought to you courtesy of 10thHussar.co.uk.
First off is a great individual wallpaper of Sir Bobby Charlton.
Next up is the great George Best.
Moving on, is the great Duncan Edwards who we sadly lost in the Munich Air disaster.

It’s been a while since I posted some United desktop wallpaper over here. So here I am bringing you the best of the Red boys on the web.
We start off with a free desktop wallpaper web site called wallpapers.diq.ru. No points for guessing it’s Russian, but the fact that it contains two neat wallpapers of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo is all I care aboot.
Following up on that, we move on to some classic Man United wallpaper collection over at 10thHussar.co.uk. They have an extremely good collection of United wallpaper over at their website which includes the following two pictures. I particularly like the one of the famous ‘Busby Babes’ of the 1960s.
