Champions Pics!

Champions

Here is the picture I promised you yesterday when I told you that Manchester United were once again Premiership champions! It just makes you want to jump with joy!

It’s great to see Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, who are the unsung heroes of the team, lift the trophy. I’m going to be controversial and say that they have been more influential than Rooney and Ronaldo. Sure they scored the goals, but the team would not be haf the team it is without Giggs and Neville.

Ronaldo Wins Awards

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo must be feeling extremely satisfied about the state of play in his career at the moment. Not only did he get his 23rd goal for Manchester Ubited this season today, he must feel extremely proud to have beaten Didier Drogba out of the PFA Player of the Year as well as the Football Writer’s Award for this season, both of which were announced this past week.

It just goes to show what a storming season he had last year really. Not bad for a player that is still the most hated in the country after his little spat with Wayne Rooney at the World Cup!

One Step Closer To The Premiership!

Fergue Cele

After a good win in the Manchester derby today, it looks as though Manchester united will finally secure the Premiership title and take over the role as reigning champions from Chelsea. The Red Devils won 1-0 today as a result of Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty after he was brought down by Michael Ball in the area.

Although Manchester United have to play Chelsea on Wednesday, the title comes back to Old Trafford if Chelsea do not get a result against Arsenal tomorr. I think it is fair to assume that we can start celebrating now!

New Wallpapers From MUFC

NewWall

Manutd.com is perhaps the best official website of a football team in the world bar none. It has everything a fan could ever want, but the best thing is… that it updates regularly. There are always new features and downloadable items on there for your pleasure.

This week it has two new wallpapers - the Cristiano Ronaldo one pictured above from the Roma game in midweek and one commemorating the 4-1 defeat of Blackburn last weekend. They are free to download and provide excellent mobile wallpaper. As I have stated previously, there is a huge choice on there and you won’t find better mobile wallpaper anywhere else!

Ronaldo Causing More Trouble

Roni

Cristiano Ronaldo is causing more trouble for Manchester United as we approach the summer, but this time it is no fault of his own. Real Madrid and Barcelona are still sniffing round and trying to lure him to Spain, which is closer to his native Portugal than Manchester! This week, Sir Bobby Charlton has come out and slammed the clubs for unsettling the Manchester United squad ahead of their Champions League tie against Roma this week.

It is undeniable that Ronaldo has been in awesome form this season, having scored 18 goals since kick off last August. He is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world at the moment and I have a feeling that these rumours will not go away. It will make for an interesting situation when the transfer window reopens in May.

The website, specifically http://www.mumobile.co.uk/videos/gallery.asp?galleryindex=9904&categoryindex=24&gallerypage=1&contentsection=3G, has videos of eight of the best to view, including Rio Ferdinand against Liverpool, Scholes vs Aston Villa and Saha agaist Benfica. Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo has three in there too!
