Let The War Of Words Begin

                                                

Every season you check the newspapers as we get towards the last ten games or so to check who is saying what about their rivals and this year it is Manchester United’s turn to be in the spotlight! The war of words, or battle of wits, has kicked off this year with Jose Mourinho.

The Chelsea boss has hit out at Alex Ferguson, saying that he enjoys the favour of referees and that is one reason why his team are on top. Mourinho claims that referees are against his Chelsea side and have been all season. Ferguson in turn as pplayed down the role referees have played in the games that United have won and hit back at Mourinho, telling him to stop whining. I think Ferguson has a valid point. It is easy to make excuses in a season that Chelsea were supposed to dominate. When all is said and done, referees don’t earn you a twelve point lead!
