If you love watching replays of Manchester United past goals then you may want to take a look at this! I have found a video online of the Premiership goals from Fulham vs Manchester United at Craven Cottage in February. Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo steals the show, but the game also notably featured Rooney and Giggs in good form! Relive the glory - you may need to tonight!

European Quarter Final Draw

The draw for the quarter finals of the Champions League was made in Athens today and the opponents of Manchester United were announced as Roma. Strangely enough, all three English Premier League sides (Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool) were kept apart, leaving the competition open for an all English final.

Manchester United, should they progress against Roma, will not face another English side unless they were to get to the final with the other two potentially meeting in the semis.

Manchester United will play at Roma on April 4th with the return leg at Old Trafford on April 11th.

Do I Hear Another FA Cup Final Song?

Your Ad Here

As Manchester United are doing so well in the FA Cup this year, I got to thinking that maybe, just maybe, we’d be treated to wnother FA Cup song! Looking through the United discography, I can see, and vaguely remember, the likes of Giggs, Sharpe and Kanchelskis singing along with Status Quo in 1994! The Quo penned the hit “Come On You Reds” as we won the double that year. Believe me, you’ll be surprised at what is in the vault… but not forgotten.

You can find the discography at  http://eil.com/shop/ExtSearch.asp?DiscArtist=Manchester-United-FC.

Ah, the memories!

Red Top Scorers To Date

                                                 Roni

Most Premier League teams have at least one proven goalscorer who consistently achieves a tally of 15-20+ in all competitions to keep the team afloat. He does so year in, year out and forges a name for himself. These strikers are essential to promote glory in a club and lead them to the title. Well, that has always been the conventional belief but Manchester United seem to be proving the traditionalists that espouse these sentiments all wrong.

If it was indeed true then you would expect Wayne Rooney or Louis Saha to be top scorer. No, Manchester United don’t have a prolific goalscorer, but they do have a prolific winger! Cristiano Roanldo is the top scorer in the Premier League this season with 16 goals to his name, followed by Rooney with 10 and Saha with 8. If the team did have a prolific striker too, just imagine where they would be!

The Glorious Title Of Champions

FA Cup

The FA Cup had always been the competition to win years ago, before the introduction of the Premier League and Champions League. It was held in high esteem and entertained the crowds. The season finale and crowning glory was always the Wembley final. Now, the anticipation tends to be muted but, after drwing at the weekend, I am calling all Manchester United fans to get behind the team to help spur them on to another FA Cup success!

The FA Cup has always been Man Utd’s competition. We first won it in 1909, beating Bristol City 1-0, and have since won it on a further 10 occasions. The club holds the reord for wins at 11 and appearences (17 in total). Since the eighties, it has been the competition we have dominated, appearing in nine and winning six since the victory in 1983 against Brighton. it is time to revive the glory days and once again lift the cup!
