Awesome United Wallpapers
I have just found possibly th best collection of Manchester United wallpapers online. There aren’t hundreds of them. In fact, there are probably only around 20, if that, but they are the highest quality wallpapers that I have had the pleasure to lay eyes on. The graphics are completely new and unique. The John O’Shea wallpaper actually has information written on it!
My favourite is the Solksjaer one fetaured above. It has a dark quality but looks visually awesome! Check out the rest at http://www.msammut.com/wallpaper.htm. They are provided by www.manutdonline.org.

Transfer Speculation

As the end of the season swiftly approaches, it is only natural that Manchester United are linked with potential summer signings, but this year the rumour mill seems to have gone into overdrive! Fernando Torres, David Villa, Dimitar Berbatov and Raffaele Palladino are just some of the strikers that have been linked without the rest of the team positions!
We obviously need a striker as Alan Smith will never be back to his best ever form and Solksjaer seems to be getting injured at least twice every season, but Alex Ferguson will only buy quality. As a result, look for a bid for Villa!

It’s The Roma Countdown!

As the old sayng goes, a good win is important before you go into the biggest game of the season. There have been so many big games this season for Manchester United that it is hard to choose just one! However, Roma in the Champion’s League quarter-final this week has to rank amongst them!
There is no team news at yet but there have been rumblings of positivity out of the Manchester United dressing room this week already! Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has already pledged that Manchester United will relish the task and feel confident that they can get a result. Solksjaer, who is still injured, seems to be playing the role of cheerleader, and good luck to him! The team need all the support they can get!

Vidic Out For The Season
Silvestre, Solksjaer, Neville… It seems that every weekend a Manchester United player picks up another injury. The training ground must be a bit light on players these days. This weekend it was the turn of Nemanja Vidic to sustain an injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.
Vidic dislocated his shoulder after an awkward fall against Blackburn on Saturday. He is expected to be out for four weeks, but the dislocation required medical attention at a hospital and experts say that it may be approximately six weeks. However, he will be right as rain in time for preseason.

Ahead Of FA Cup Weekend
This has been a big week for Manchester United already considering they have progressed to the quarter final of the Cahmpions League. However, their week is about to get even bigger as they face Middlesborough at the Riverside in an FA Cup quarter final.
The team news is certainly interesting. Solksjaer, Fletcher, Saha and Silvestre are all out with injuries, which has led to Dong Fangzhou (a rookie that I wrote a quick bio about some weeks back) receiving his very first first team call up. It is also Henrik Larsson’s last appearence in a Manchester United shirt before his return to Sweden on the 12th March. Alex ferguson is certainly going to have a tough time choosing a side in the hours before the game.
Watch this space for the result!

Saha Also On The Injured List
Louis Saha is the latest name to join the Manchester United injuries list. It has been confirmed that he will miss at least a month of games and may not be fully fit before the end of the season. he has been sidelined with a hamstring injury that he sustained during training earlier on in the week. He has since had a scan on it, which confirmed the prognosis. He will be sorely missed because Manchester United actually have one striker fit now - Wayne Rooney. With Solksjaer also on the injured list and Larsson returning to Sweden, this situation may indeed prove problematic in the title run in.

Injury Update

Manchester United may be marching on in persuit of the Champions League, FA Cup and Premiership title, but their squad is looking a little depleated after a bad week on the injuries front. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has already been declared injured for the forseeable future, but last night’s game against Lille saw another name added to the list. Mikael Silvestre dislocated his shoulder during the game and will be out for three weeks.
Silvestre’s injury is not as bad as was first thought. He was initially believed to have broken his arm, which would have rendered him unable to play for a longer spell. As it is, he will be back for the end of the season run in, by which time Alex Ferguson may well need him fresh and ready to play.
