FA Cup Replay Time Again!

Manchester United were today held to a 2-2 draw against Middlesborough at the Riverside in the quarter final of the FA Cup. It was a fantastic match, pulsing from end to end with the result seemingly on a knife edge. Middlesborough played very well to end Manchester United’s week in a disappointing fashion after the mid-week vistory against Lille.
Rooney scored the opener after 23 minutes, only for Middlesborough to go 2-1 up after half time. Cristiano Ronaldo brought it to 2-2 after a well-taken penalty kick to earn the replay. Manchester United should win that at Old Trafford. However, Alex Ferguson’s injury woes continue as he lost Edwin Van Der Sar in the warm up before the match, bringing the total of injured players to five.
