Say Happy Birthday With Rooney!

If you have a family or friend birthday coming up then it can be expensive. You have to get the card, the gift etc… However, it doesn’t have to be as expensive as you think. Cards can now be sent for free on the Internet - or e-cards as they are called. They are almost always free and come in thousands of designs and styles. Animated, cute, sporty… whatever you choose.
There are plenty of Manchester United e-cards that can be sent, and there are some good ones featuring pictures of Manchester United players at http://www.manutdecards.com/. They currently have an anti-Chelsea campaign going on so you’re doing your bit to support that by using a card. You can put whatever message you choose inside the card… inlcuding the present of three points on Saturday!
They are creative, well designed and free… so why not go for one of them?!

Man Utd Fan Art

There are so many commercial websites trying to sell their wares out ther that it is envitable that people will tire of it after a while. No longer can individuals be bothered to search for stuff that isn’t as good as they could do themselves. Well, now they don’t have to!
There is a website that is owned and ran by a Manchester United fan and actively invites individuals to submit their own fan art for display. There are caricatures on there, abstrat peices and much more all dedicated to Manchester United by the fans. It is just a place to let your cretive juices run riot whilst supporting your club. Not only is it an excellent idea in theory but, judging by the high quality on there, it is also a good idea in practice. Roma Defeat Hits Hard
Manchester United tonight suffered a blow to their Champions League aspirations as they lost to Roma 2-1. They went 1-0 down to a Taddei goal on 44 minutes. However, ten minutes before that Paul Scholes was sent off for a second bookable offence. Both tackles were stupid and could have been avoided but, as a result, Scholes will miss the next leg of the tie at Old Trafford. Wayne Rooney pulled a goal back on 60 minutes, only for the Red Devils to go 2-1 down just seven minutes later.
The scoreline has left Manchester United a lot to do at Old Trafford next week. They do have the advantage of an away goal but may well need that advantage if they struggle to get past Roma’s defence.
Come on boys, you can do it!

Wayne Rooney is renowned for his fiery temper at both club and country level, having gotten into trouble as a result of it many times in the pasr. However, this time it appears that it has caused trouble off the pitch as well as on it.
Frustrated by England’s lack of results in recent months, it has been reported that he had an argument with England coach Steve McClaren after the 0-0 draw with Israel at the weekend. McClaren reportedly took his frustrations out on Rooney who then retaliated with a fe home truths. McClaren has denied that it ever happened, but sources cose to the England camp say that this is not the case. It will certainly be interesting to see whather Rooney lines up to start the match against Andorra on Wednesday.
